Well... we'll see how it goes this year. Just moved from NY to FL, aaaand I still can't find the notebook that I MUST have made notes for this story in. ^^;; But, I've convinced the mother-in-law upstairs to join the madness this year, as well as another person or two, so this bodes well for mutual butt-kicking.
Also, the husband (omg I have a husband this year) has actually verbally said outloud that he does not expect me to do something major like start up a business (aka etsy shop I'm plotting) until "after November". YAY! Supportive spouse! ...who also recently reiterated just how much he hates what/how I write. Luckily, he hates many things that I and other people love, so this is easily ignored. ;)
So this year, continuing my '09 NaNo ( anandas2009nanowrimo.blogspot.com ), which now has at least a temporary title (thanks to my lack of sleeping a few nights ago). It's the one with the garden. :)
lol that description does NOT actually help, does it?
Kimber, the artist girl, who noses around the overgrown gardens of a house that burned down a hundred years ago (ish), and starts seeing glimpses of the Mason family, who once lived there.
There's not really a central conflict yet, apart from her trying to learn more about the place, and uncover its history. I actually have a smidge of an idea for some conflict, but, it doesn't actually involve growth of the MC yet, so... expect some word-flailing this month. As always.
Now, if I can just finish re-reading the '09 chunk before Nov. 1st!
